This picture is printed the wrong way round, "Brook House" and "Brooklands" are on the right of the church.

When I was a toddler my family lived in Brook House in Kettleshulme.
I am trying to find out what church I was baptized in.
I am assuming it was C of E possibly in Kettleshulme.
I remember Jack & Ada Brockleshurst were our neighbors.
We emigrated to America in FEB 1947.
Is there any further information or pictures of Brook House or the Church?
My parents were Alan & Muriel Fowler.
Many Thanks!

Hello Jacqueline. It may be a long time ago, but there are people in the village who still remember you. I would think you would have been christened at Taxal Church by the Rev Henry, That is where I was christened as I am a similar age to you. Alan.
