Does anyone know why the shops seam to be boarding up their windows ?
Was this just before some event !

Possibly United were playing Derby that day. No I would suggest the windows were covered to keep the hot sun off the goods on sale such as meat and fish etc, cant think of any other explanation. Alan Shaw might know, he is older than me.
