To the left of the Cock Hotel (in those days known as The New Cock because the Jodrell was formerly called The Cock) are a row of houses called Rosie Bank Cottages.
Rosie Bank Cottages were demolised and the area was used for various purposes. Joey Bould’s garage started there and there was a barber’s shop at one time. It is now the pub car park.
The cottage attached to the pub was demolished many years ago.
