Bob James stood outside his ironmongers shop on Macclesfield Road. Outside on the right is a petrol pump where my father used to fill up his lorries.

Mrs James taught me at Sunday School at the Gospel Hall, it was a special treat to use coloured pencils. I used to walk up Macc Rd. to visit my brother and always popped in to Mr and Mrs James shop, they were lovely people, I have very fond memories of them.
