We now know that they are either Ralph & Fanny Morten Or Ralph's farther & mother, possibly taken at Combs or Kettleshulme before moving to Bings Farm, Whaley Bridge.

I knew a Mr and Mrs Morten, they had a dairy farm on Stock lane below Clayton Fold Farm.
