Furness Vale Brickyard

Adrian Wilson took this photograph at Furness Brickyard in the late 1970's. This shows one of the 'beehive' kilns with the main building in the background. The person is believed to be Tommy Burton.

Seeing this picture brings back memories to me. I have spent many hours working on those old kilns, repairing the fire holes.
