Happy New Year!
I have been visiting this site on and off to see if there has been any recent activity
and I'm so sorry to see there hasn't !!
I sincerely hope this is not the beginning of the end .....

Hi Gritch,

I share your sentiment. I have been visiting this site regularly in the hope there will be some good news.
I hope any differences that are causing problems can be resolved. I would miss this forum if it went.

Happy New year.

I like to positive, and the fact we can still use it is a start.

It certainly would be a disaster if it went. There are some regulars who have not commented, can we hear from more users please? What do you think?

Ps Happy New Year :)

Happy new year from me to everyone as well.

And thanks to all for your interesting contributions and detailed research. I normally can't add much to the discussion, but very much appreciate seeing all the pictures and reading about the fascinating history of Whaley and its surroundings.

Special thanks to Norm and RSS for organising the site.

Happy New Year to all, well not actually Happy but not the end. The main point is the websites and forum will continue.

A very small meeting was held last night, more like a chat, with a total of three people who post on here and it would be wrong to abandon it because of one person. It is very regrettable that R. S-S has decided to leave, and I have mixed feelings whether I want him to realise what a dreadful mistake he has made, I don’t mean just by leaving but that is life and I am sure nothing will change his mind.

So we continue. It has been quiet in the last year on here, I suppose mainly due to the fact that much of the history has been covered and no new material is available. It states on the photo site that today’s photos are tomorrow’s history, with that in mind in the coming months I plan to put information on regarding last summer’s events at Toddbrook, I suspect you remember it and may wish to contribute.

Hope everyone is as well as can be.

Norm

Yes it is regrettable, but like you say that's life.

Norm don't dwell on it too much, as you know you are not the first person he has fell out with and probably not the last.
