Hello again,

Continuing the search for 'Bottom Lodge' in Fernilee, I have come across a picture of the reservoir construction on the Whaley Photos site: ... photo=1611

which I think does include the bottom lodge, based on my assumption that it was the building shown on maps adjacent to the railway crossing of the 'Valentine' road. It's near the top right-hand corner of the image, amid the various temporary buildings, a small single-storey stone building with two windows and a chimney.

Is there any way a higher-resolution scan of that part of the photo could be obtained? I notice it was submitted by Shirley Bowker.

Any advice welcome.
