#2861 The Ancient History of the Distinguished Surname Jodrell

Post by Norm » Wed Oct 10, 2018 3:57 pm

Hi

Robert lent me a scroll to scan and put on the forum. It was quite long and would not fit on my A4 scanner. I did consider cutting it up but thought he may not be too pleased. So my next option was to scan it in sections. So the result is the following three photos, with the incredibly sensible names of top, middle and bottom. Hope it is readable.

That is very interesting.
Thanks for putting it on Norm.

It answers my previous question in a thread I put on a while ago about the Jodrell's.

That made interesting reading - thanks to Robert, and also to Norm for putting in the effort with the scanning problem.

And don't forget the telescope at Jodrell Bank was named after the Jodrell family.
