Masters Farm was on the Cheshire side of Fernilee about opposite Shaw Stile only not as high up the valley side it was next to the road to erwood hall just above the powder mill another part of the Lomas family lived here

Both memories of course are correct although the cherry trees are all gone now at the top of the Valentine where it meets long hill there were large gates green in the water board years but of course this was the site of top lodge for errwood hall (the ruins or at least the base is still there) the ...

Buggyite & RSS i have just been re reading your posts regarding the turntable very interesting even on a second read, if you look at the 1875 os map on the Cheshire Records history site it shows the Turntable on the up side to Buxton in the same place as the Map Buggyite has put on here, if you can...
